Lycia was the world's first republic and is famous for its archers, cedar forests and rockgraves. You will visit, amongst others, the ruins of Tlos, the impressive Saklikent gorge and St. Nicholas' church in Myra. The descriptions you will receive also comprise a hiking tour and other activities such as canoeing. You can also lengthen your vacation in one of the villages along the coast. |

| CULMINATING POINTS OF THE CLASSICAL HERITAGE | |
Turkey has been inhabited for over 3000 years. Romans and Turkish tribes succeeded inhabitants of the Greek colonies and the mainland. They spread out over entire Asia Minor, but their heritage can be found mostly in the west and southwest of Turkey. During this 10-day tour you will, amongst others, visit the roman city of Hieropolis, which is situated above the limestone terraces of Pamukkale, and the impressive ruins of Ephesos. You'll stay in the national park by the Bafa lake, can make a boat tour to the city of Caunos in Dalyan and then head back to Antalya along the Lycian coast.
