| A quiet and friendly house on a pretty Kaleiçi street two blocks in from Hadrians Gate. The building is renovated thoroughly and furnished with moderation; it has a shady garden and a cosy common room. What draws us to this modest little hotel each time we are in Antalya is above all the hospitality of Ms Malhas, an Armenian lady from Istanbul who is everyones friend and confidante and is an indispensable source of gossip about the comings and goings of Antalya. Like all Armenian ladies she cooks deliciously, and she will even tell your fortune off the dregs of a cup of Turkish coffee. |
