Two mountain chains, one in the north and one in the south, shape Turkey's varied landscapes. Between them lies the Anatolian plateau. Volcanoes like the Hasandagi (3253 m) and Erciyes (3916 m) helped create the curious Cappadocia landscape, which is made of colourful cone-shaped tuff formations. Individually or with a group, you can make a 5-day mountain tour through the western part of the Taurus mountain chain. You spend the night in the Beskonak national park, near a white water river where you can raft. You then cross the mountains to the Kovada lake and then drive toward the city of Egirdir. You can then make a hiking trip through the impressive Çandir gorge. You then head back to Antalya. You spend the night in a hotel, villagehouse and pensions. You'll receive an extensive route description with tips for sights along your route. |

Individually or with a group, you are taken from Antalya to Beskonak national park. Here you can raft on the white water river, learn climbing and abseiling. The bicycle tour then goes down the mountain to the village of Bucak. Along the road, you visit the impressive Roman cities of Aspendos and Sillyon and some unknown but nevertheless impressive waterfalls. You spend the night in small pensions and villagehouses, your luggage is taken by car. The tour takes 8 days. |

Camping/bicycle tour that includes some pretty tough hiking. With a group you travel from Ankara to Kayseri, where you set up camp on the Tekir plateau (2150 m) on the Erciyes volcano. Your bicycle tour goes to Develi, where you camp on a lakeshore, near the impressive Karpuzbasi waterfalls (3100 m). Rare fauna, such as eagles, wolves and chamois, and minerals typify the tour. In the Talas Devrenk valley you will visit an underground city. Your 8-day tour is undertaken by mountainbike and under supervision of a guide. You luggage and camping gear is taken by car. |
